Fathom Builds Online Presence for Peter Larson and Blue Design

In working with Fathom’s creative and editorial team, Peter Larson, Principal at Ashley McGraw Architects, Syracuse, New York, has launched a new online presence, “Peter Larson & Blue Design” at PeterLarson.org, to share his theories and work in Blue Design, a holistic approach to finding harmony in our built and natural worlds. The site provides areas to read the core tenets and new publications of Blue Design, engage in conversation and schedule Peter for speaking events.

“This is the first time Blue Design is unleashed to the world. My goal is to bring the thinking to those outside of the architectural world so that others can help evolve the theories and put them into play. I’m excited to explore the possibilities with others and see where it leads,” said Larson.

For Fathom, working with Larson and his team is an opportunity to help groundbreaking thought leadership begin a complex but exciting journey. By openly sharing his theories and ideas with other thought leaders and the world, Larson will leverage the limitless online possibilities for conversation, idea sharing and community building. The online environment built with Fathom is the first step in a long-term strategy for Blue Design.

“The conversations and thinking that happens on Peter Larson & Blue Design is unlike anything else in the current ‘green’ or ‘sustainability’ world. We are using the online tools of today to have a conversation that leads to a different tomorrow. This is not your typical website,” said Suzi Craig, Fathom’s Director of Marketing and Engagement.

One of the primary visions for Larson is the creation of an Institute to house and develop Blue Design theories. The website for Peter Larson & Blue Design is step one towards building the Institute. With challenges as big as Blue Design tackles, Larson sees the need to first engage in conversation and build a community that will help evolve and challenge the ideas he’s putting forth.

“Peter has a vision that our firm fully supports, and we also understand that Blue Design needs its own environment to grow. We look forward to participating in the inspiring and challenging conversations to come,” said Ed McGraw, CEO, Ashley McGraw Architects.
