As compassionate bridge builders, how do we embody compassion and express love for our perceived greatest adversaries? What do we need to unlock and unblock within ourselves to realize this love?

Join us for our September Sip Session to explore the concept of Warrior Compassion, to look within to explore what’s blocking us from loving those that are the hardest to reach and the hardest to love. Our Sip guide in this conversation will be Sean Harvey, Chief Compassion Officer, and Founder at Warrior Compassion.

In our conversation, we’ll explore some hard questions that are essential to begin to build compassionate bridges as a gateway to societal healing. Sean will bring us to the jugular of the pain for so many individuals, and help us ask … “Where is the suffering and where is the yearning?”

This is where the work begins.

About Sean Harvey

Sean Harvey is the Chief Compassion Officer and Founder at Warrior Compassion, under the Sympónia Studios umbrella, based in Washington, D.C.

Sean is the author of the upcoming book: Warrior Compassion – Unleashing the Healing Power of Men, due to be released January 2023. Warrior Compassion is a fierce healing power within that liberates us to walk from deeper consciousness, compassion, and connection. It is an energy within that when accessed that helps us transform from wounded warriors to healing warriors. When we heal our wounds, we begin to discover and learn to love the truth of who we are, unearth our inherent gifts, and realize the ways we are meant to contribute in the world. Yet, it begins with the compassion we have for ourselves.

Sean is also a founding member of Project Compassion, a national coalition of culture transformation practitioners, masculinity guides, and compassion experts who are developing a compassion-centered systems change model and consulting approach for police departments, federal law enforcement agencies, and military security forces nationally and globally.

Sean most recently served as the head of Personal Transformation and Wellbeing for EILEEN FISHER where he co-authored an article for the Journal of Management, Spirituality & Religion on Nurturing the Soul of the Company at EILEEN FISHER. Prior to his experience at EILEEN FISHER, Sean was the Vice President of Talent Consulting for Partners International, where he launched a Socially Conscious Leadership program for emerging leaders on Wall Street.
