United Way Emerging Leaders Society (ELS) is a United Way affinity group of young professionals, who are committed to furthering United Way’s education goals and change in our community. Launching in 2012 with 15 members, ELS now consists of more than 350 members from various industries representing over 100 area workplaces. The ELS experience is designed to help you utilize your current talents, develop new proficiencies and connect you with other local, young professionals as well as community leaders.
ELS focuses on developing the next generation of young professionals through its involvement with after-school and year-round learning programs. Membership dollars and fundraising activities help local children and youth succeed academically and in life. The group inspires change through volunteerism, collaboration with peers and local leaders, unique fundraising events and networking with a purpose.
