Meeting today’s workforce challenge means changing the game

We are in a business environment where a shortage of top talent is limiting growth for an increasing number of organizations. Because the most desirable people have both more choice over whom they work for and higher expectations about what employers will provide, many organizations are struggling to create a culture where not only top talent thrive, but add tremendous value.

Let’s look at culture through a new lens:

In this workshop, you will be introduced to a multi-dimensional way of thinking that will provoke ideas you can use to improve your ability to select the right people for your team and create an environment where they want to build a career and add value to the business. You and other attendees will work with these concepts in real-time, applying them to the unique culture and objectives of your organizations.

This experience will be particularly enlightening due to the unique viewpoints of the facilitators. Brent Robertson, of Future Design firm Fathom, will leverage his perspective on the overall organizational eco-system required to attract and keep top talent. Amy Allen, HR Practice Partner at BlumShapiro, will draw upon her extensive human resources experience to offer specific applications of ideas that have made a big difference for some of the most recognized companies in the country.

Who should attend and why

This workshop is designed for executives who understand that their people are their most important asset, executives who think about talent and what their organization is doing to cultivate talent, leaders implementing people-related programs, processes, and policies.

Attendees will leave with an awareness of and practice with:

  • A new and powerful distinction between what you are looking for in terms of employees versus what you are actually hiring.
  • A new and powerful way of thinking about the future leaders of your company and how you are developing them.
  • Three critical organizational attributes that, if demonstrated, can increase the engagement level of every member of the organization now and in the future
  • Pragmatic advice that will improve the Interview Process, Performance Reviews, and succession planning processed.
